DIVING COURSE BOOKING INFORMATION
  • You MUST be able to swim a minimum distance of 200m, any swim stroke, without stopping or hanging onto the sides of the pool. No time requirements and no buoyancy aids.
  • You must be able to tread water/float for 10 min
  • Medicals are self-declaration, however, you may need to supply a dive medical signed by a physician should you suffer from any of the conditions specified. This will be required before we can allow you to do your open water dives.
  • Rental equipment is included. Forms for your gear hire can be downloaded from the link below. Please complete this and return the form at least 48 hours before your course to dive@nzdiving.co.nz
  • If you miss a session or are late for your course you may need to do a catch-up session. Extra charges may apply.
  • Once you have booked or started an online course, and you find you need to change your course dates, please speak with us as early as possible so we can try and accommodate your request.

DIVING CHARTER BOOKING INFORMATION

What to bring:

Proof of dive certification/log book. Lunch, Snacks & Drinks. Sunscreen/Sunhat. Change of clothes appropriate for the season.

Getting here:

Warkworth is just 45 minutes north of Central Auckland. You will need your own transport to get to us or the boat ramp.

What’s Included:

Our charter prices include all scuba diving equipment. Contact us directly if you already have your own gear, or you just need tanks and weights for the dive.

Dedicated to recreational and technical scuba diving on the North Island, we have an exciting range of dive sites to suit all abilities, something to interest everybody of reasonable fitness.
Based in Sandspit near Warkworth, our playground includes Leigh Reef, Little Barrier & the Hen & Chick Islands which have arguably the most enjoyable dive sights in New Zealand and the scenery is second to none.
Our tours can be tailored to suit each group whether they be wreck detectives, technical divers, photographers, marine biologists or just up for a good holiday.

Diving season never ends! We dive all year round, whilst the summer season brings warmer water, the winter also brings incredible visibility and we provide rental wetsuits that are suitable for the climate. You can expect to spend time around amazing marine life, whilst also encountering unique marine animals such as sharks, dolphins and seals, so come and see us anytime.

COVID POLICY

In alignment with the governments decision to remove the Covid traffic light system we are no longer requesting proof of Covid vaccinations.

However, the long-term effects of Covid-19 and ‘long Covid’ on the respiratory system can pose a serious threat that can be detrimental to divers and while we respect other people’s decision, we do not wish to subject our staff and customers to any unnecessary risk. Therefore if you have symptoms we would appreciate if you could inform our staff immediately, wear a mask and take the necessary precautions as documented by the Health Services.

If you enroll on a course or charter, know that all our instructors will be fully vaccinated for both your and their safety and wellbeing.
